There are several reasons why you may be concerned about rust spots on your car. If you are going to try to sell it, any appearance of surface rust will drive down the re-sale price considerably. VW Bay Window vans used two different rim sizes.
1968-70 have 5 bolts with a 205-6mm distance between adjacent holes and are called wide-5s (US).
